ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT RENTAL PROPERTY ELECTRICAL COMPLIANCE

For Rentals Providers or Property Managers: 

You must ensure that an electrical safety check is completed on all installations, fittings and electrical appliances, every two years by a licensed electrician.  

For Tenants: 

You can request from the landlord a copy of the latest inspection. If the date is more than two years ago, you property agent / owner must organise one ASAP.
